"The Pearl -- John Steinbeick"

This novel is about Kino_pearl diver and his family (his wife Juana,and his son Coyotito)

His family is poor like another pearl divers' family.He loves his wife and his son so much. One day, his son Coyotito got terrible sickness, so Kino had to invite the doctor to come to their house. But the fat,wealthy doctor didn't go because Kino didn't have enough money to pay him. Therefore, Kino decided to go find a pearl. He took his wife and his son with him. After that, he found "The Pearl of the world". He came back his house with a lot of wishes. The doctor accepted Kino's invitation, just because the doctor want to get Kino's pearl. Kino thinks his family will get a good life after he sells the pearl. But it was opposite to his thought, a lot of accidents had been happening in his family. He heard the Song of Evil. His wife suggested him to throw the pearl away. Even though the value of the pearl will help his family get a better life , he still throw it away. Because family is an important and worth things for him.

In my opinion, this story is a good story about family. Kino had showed me how important and worth family is. I think nothing can buy a happy life for family expect the one who loves his or her family.
